You’re Invited

An Australian and a New Yorker, brought together in the one place unlikely enough to make it work—right here in the city. Now they are getting married in the place where their love story unfolded, and you are cordially summoned to witness it, toast it, and dance to it (with some help from the open bar).

The wedding

Brass & The Tusk Bar, 7 East 27th Street

While we would be honored to have everyone witness our ceremony, we’ve decided to keep things intimate, and get married surrounded by our immediate family only. All guests should join us for cocktail hour at 6:00 PM at The Tusk Bar, followed by dinner and dancing at Brass from 7:00 PM - 11:00 PM. We ask that all guests come in evening cocktail attire.

The after party

The party doesn’t have to end when the reception does. We’re still finalizing the details, but for anyone looking to keep the night going, stay tuned—an after party is in the works. Check back here for updates closer to the date.

Where to stay

We’ve secured a room block at The Evelyn Hotel for the easiest access to our venue (just take the elevator down!) You can book a room using this link.

There are also a ton of great options within walking distance of our venue. We recommend Ace Hotel New York for a true NYC experience, or The Ritz-Carlton New York NoMad for those looking to treat themselves a little extra.

A love story

Three weeks after Will landed in New York, he swiped right on Hinge. His opening message needed no words at all: just a single heart-eyes emoji. A classic move. They picked The Bowery Hotel for their first date—the perfect midpoint between Elizabeth’s Midtown East apartment and Will’s new place in Fort Greene, a fitting symbol for two people who have continued to prioritize meeting each other halfway. For a while, it was practically long-distance—a relationship carried out between two subway lines and two very different corners of New York. But with Will still settling into a new city and a new life, they took their time, never rushing what was clearly worth waiting for. And when the moment was finally right, they found their way back to each other for good.
